Swedish-born couple Ola and Marie Hogland settled in New Zealand in 1982. Lifelong devotees of the art of stained glass, they have created a whole galaxy of hand-blown wonders whilst simultaneousdly winning awards left right and centre. Their vibrant creations - which take in everything from paperweights to perfume bottles - seem straight out of the studio of some bright-eyed twenty first century alchemist, and recent designs have won over such venerable clients as Bill Clinton, Sir Elton John, Mohammed Ali and even the King of Tonga. | |
