The needle-like Sky Tower is the tallest building in the Southern hemisphere, rising to a mighty 328 metres. By night, when the whole thing is lit up in a chain of neon colours, it looks straight out of Star Wars. However, during the day, it provides a platform for some earth defying adventures. Using a specially designed system, you can hurtle down 630 ft at 75 km per hour. This isn't bungy jumping, when you bounce about or hang upside down, rather, you cruise down like the noble Superman before the pace gradually winds down. A cracker! | |
