If fresh seafood and crisp, chilled white wines sound appealing then you should head over to Kermadec for a touch of the good life. Splendid views over the harbour provide a perfect backdrop to a couple of hours spent over lunch or dinner with friends. Kermadec also has one or two surprizes up its sleeve. One of the owners has a passion for Japan, and you can settle down in two intimate Japanese styled 'Tatami' rooms (a smattering of superb Japanese dishes are also the menu). Grab a drink in the groovy Trench Bar, and then head on up to the restaurant for some exquisitely prepared seafood.

"I love seafood. so right off the bat, this place and I hit it offf... I didn't get a chance to see the 'Japanese" rooms but the weather was awesome and so was the view. Basically, just some pretty damn good seafood (with a view)."
